If something seems “fishy” in this logo, it was perfectly intended. Fish are said to have a really short memory. Photography is all about preserving memories. Mixing the two elements together seemed complementary.
The reason Marina was hell-bent on including fish in the design was simple – these animals stand thematically close to her heart. Placing the aperture in the middle is a classic component of photography logos. The entire logo is neatly tied together with geometric forms.
